For a year now the media has talked about the "Boxing Day" Tsumani. There was no Tsumani on Boxing Day. Has everyone forgotten that Boxing Day cannot be on a sunday? When Christmas Day is Saturday the next day is Christmas Sunday, and the day after is Boxing Day. People still remembered this in 1993, but by 1999 and last year they seemed to forget it. But then everybody thinks the 21st century started in 2000 so I shouldn't be suprised.

Isn't it St Stephen's Day - the day after Christmas, regardless of when Boxing Day is.

In actual fact, whether it was Boxing Day, Christmas Sunday, or any other title you prefer to give it, it doesn't really matter one bit............it was a tragedy of mammoth proportions.

Not really something that deserves an entirely new thread, sorry to say. Debating the semantics of the name of the day on which it occurred, is a bit bizarre.

I have to agree with BBC WORLD here - this has nothing to do with television presentation.
