What is happening with Border News?
Until about a year ago, there were three regular presenters through the week and then it all went downhill. All three have disappeared - I know Susannah had a baby but what about Heather and John, what has happened to them?
Glad to see Emma Douglas has not been on for a few weeks, she has probably been sent on a course teaching her to get a personality!

I saw it the other night and there was a young blond guy on the only reason i kept tuned to it i hasten to add he was gorg . I don't miss the others i thought that they weren't that great .Especially Susannah B she sounded flat as a pancake and she was rubbish on those Border TV programmes that she presented too .I did like Heathers Trailblazing though .

So who is this blond bombshell then?

I'm not sure of his name but he was a new face and a bit of all right for Border TV they might get some viewers now .

John is a producer/director for Border. I don't know about Heather, I don't think she was a journalist, just an announcer and then Border News reader. I think she probably is a producer/director too, maybe not.

I notice Border seem to have ditched the sports presenter. There hasn't been one for weeks, and the main newsreaders now do the sport. Plus the sports presenter Jonathan Willoughby was one of the main newsreaders on the main programme last week.

Does Angela don't know her surname still present bulletins? I liked her when i was up there last time, nice smile

Angela Johnston. Yes she does, usually weekends.

Emma - is she the one who has been on mornings this past week? How come she takes such long pauses between stories, as though they need to fill up time?!?!

Yes, that is she. She really is awful, I gave the benefit of the doubt and thought she would improve, but she has been there for months, and is still just as bad. She has no sense of humour, never smiles, sometimes doesn't even say hello / goodbye, and as you say ' Reuben ' she leaves big gaps between stories.

Jonathan Willoughby was on the Lunchtime bulletin today.
