BAGHDAD, Oct 24, (Reuters) - Three loud blasts on Monday
rocked an area near two Baghdad hotels used by journalists and
foreign contractors.
The blasts, which appeared to be mortars, scattered debris
over a wide area near the Palestine and Sheraton hotels and sent
smoke rising into the sky. There were no immediate details of
casualties.
