Quite a big scoop for the ITV News Channel, with a live phone interview with Nick Griffin, the chairman of the party. Apparently an ambulance was called to his house this morning where he was discovered, but it's believed he died in his sleep.
Sky saying he was due in court on the 21st with the chairman of the party, charged with inciting racial hatred.
It's news.

It's news.
I was under the impression this forum was for discussing how news is being presented rather than just announcements of what is the news. Surely The Lounge should be used to discuss this mans death unless there are any notable changes to the presentation of the channels, or have I got that wrong?

What you have said is entirely valid. However I have been posting here though for many years, my post count reflects this, and I thought this matter was suitable for this forum. Furthermore there's nothing stopping people discussing how this news was broken, which is precisely one of the several purposes of this forum. But I do completely see where you're coming from.

This issued by the BNP press office...
Statement on John Tyndall's death from BNP press officer who declined to give his name:
"John Tyndall was hounded to his death by the police and the CPS. Worry that he might go to jail led to his death. He was only saying what was true. He was a damn sight better that anyone who works for the BBC."..

This is a great loss to Britain, and the peoples of Britain.
Seemingly intelligent people maintain that the BNP is racist, but if more people listened to the likes of Tyndall and Griffin those people who were murdered in the suicide bombs in London would probably still be here if their policies were implemented.
John Tyndall: we will never forget you, and all the work you have done - may you rest in peace.
