The news channel targeting the black community in the US has relaunched with new anchors, new logo, graphics and programmes.
This channel is located strangely in Tallahassee FL. Its partially owned by the owner of NFL team Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan, who also owns Fulham F.C. There are swirling rumors the channel plans to locate to Atlanta, the current centre of black media in the US . Atlanta is a very large major media center with several major tv networks HQ'd there and a few large movie studios with sound stages around the metro Atlanta area. So to attract the talent need to staff the channel it seems like a smart move to HQ in Atlanta. New anchor Sharon Reed formerly of CBS Atlanta lives there and Mike Hill who's wife is cast member of Real Housewives of Atlanta lives there partially. He works for Fox Sport currently in LA. Sharon and Mike head up the newly relaunched breakfast programme. There are currently using WFH set ups but the channel put forth the effort to make both setups similar on air. Other BNC WFH sets up also have the same look, stacked stone and a screen with the channel logo. I wish other networks would take cue from this. I dont like stacked stone but I do like the idea of a cohesive style. Well done to BNC for that.

They relaunched a fresh clean website as well.

I love the new more serious logo. THe graphics are very simple and sombre and very very clean. Over all I like this look.

If you are still confused as to why channel exists, they try to explain it on relaunch day.

Not sure about those graphics - maybe I’m biased because I’m completely against the concept of a news channel only catering to one race, but they don’t look half as good as NBC’s, ABC’s or CBS’s.
