Sky News is always the first to get exclusives and Tony Blair is no expection. Media 24/7 is reporting that Sky News will air exclusive questions for Blair regarding health and crime, in a special 'Blair week' to air on Sky's 24 hour news channel.

Media 24/7 says_

Sky News will screen Tony Blair's latest live election grilling in two one-hour-long live programmes on Wednesday to answer questions on health and crime.

In the first programme, Mr Blair will field questions from medical staff and patients at a Midlands hospital.

A few hours later, he will be questioned by police and probation officers.

The two programmes will be shown on Sky News on Wednesday as part of the channel's 'Blair Day'.

Presumably this will have been part of the deal Sky struck when they got him to do a similar thing on Five News.

Going out and meeting 'real' voters is part of his election strategy, and what the entire Labour election campaign is going to be based around, so they're sort of playing into his hands.

Will be interesting to watch, however.

More interesting will be whether it's Julie Etchingham or Adam Boulton who gets the presenting gig. They are both tough questioners, but Boulton really is in a league of his own on political questioning; just seems as though top brass are favouring her above all others at the moment.

Appearing "exclusively" on Sky then after appearing "exclusively" on five after appearing "exclusively" on T4.

Don't forget the big interview with the PM is on ITV1 next Saturday.

All the major (and minor probably) news organisations will get to grill Tony in forthcoming weeks.

Indeed - and when every local radio station gets a letter from Labour offering a phone-in with PM/Cabinet Minister/Minister (presumably depending on winnability of seat / marginal / etc), then you can see their strategy.

Tony Blair really is the media monkey isn't he? I mean he's appeared in the Simpsons. Isn't he appearing in some entertainment show soon as well? I forget which.

He's being interviewed by Little Ant & Dec on next week's Saturday Night Takeaway!

Blimey - I never thought in a million years that I'd ever be saying this... but VOTE CONSERVATIVE!

If we give Labour four more years, then who knows what rights they'll tear away from us.

The threat to our enduring civil liberties from Blair and his gang is far, far greater than the alleged terrorist threat from Al-Qaida.
