i'm sorry to say but as much as i respect Moira she always has frogs in her throat and it's gross!!

Even this morning the wonderful Natasha handed over by saying 'Good Morning Moira' and in return she got a big phlemy croak

had me thinking there for a second!!!

I agree Moira can be a bit croaky at times, but this does not take away from her high levels of indescribable excellence!

Moira is my favourite Newsreader followed very, very, very closely by Fiona and Natasha. If you want me to give fashion updates and reminders on Moira, I'll be happy to do so. Laughing

I had the good fortune to be in the UK yesterday, and hence caught almost all of Breakfast, including the Breakfast Briefing.

Moira had some delightful banter with the guys on the sofa at the point of handover, mainly arising out of clips of Little Britain at the BAFTAS. I have never heard Moira laugh so heartily.

However, she hilariously tripped up a couple of times during the Breakfast Briefing. She handed over to " our correspondent Emma Jane Kirby at The Vatican for the latest on the selection of a new Pope. Kathy, what's the latest?"

Emma Jane looked baffled but carried on. At the end of the piece, Moira said "Kathy - thanks!"

She was obviously confusing Emma Jane Kirby with pop legend Kathy Kirby.

I am sure BIG MOIRA did it deliberately...............

I don't see why Moira isn't seen presenting the main bulletins on BBC 1 - it would even be great to see her on the weekend ones - and as much as I think Darren Jordan is a good newscaster, it be would good to see a new (or in this case, familiar) face to return - ie. BIG MOIRA (as she's known in this forum!)
