I managed to catch all of THE BIG MOIRA BRIEFING * this morning, and what a joy it is! So great to see her 'flying solo' again. It's news like news should be! My only criticism is that it's only on three days a week!

*Apologies to Hyma for the slight bending of the formatting guidelines, but I really feel strongly that a programme of such 'Fabness' deserves special formatting. Whaddya think?

Yes, I know. But behind the scenes, Natasha is jealous a little bit as she will never ever be as fab as the Great One.

Apparently BIG MOIRA was in the audience at the Bruce Forsyth BAFTA tribute that was aired in the UK at the weekend. Did anyone see it? How was Brucie and how was our favourite News Diva? Did she ask a question?

Bruce and Moira are good friends from way back, and have mutual admiration for each other. Moira used to co-present alongside Brucie when he stood in for Terry Wogan on the "Wogan" show in the mid eighties. She always had a spoof news spot alongside Bruce on the sofa. It was strange to see Moira doing slapstick!

I recall a few years ago she was in the audience, at "An Audience with Diana Ross", and it was equally strange to see Moira on her feet, clapping and dancing, just behind Graham Norton who sat in the row in front.........

Yes, I totally agree that Moira should present more of the main news bulletins
