Perhaps if there was a paragraph of text just under the DOG which said BBC THREE NEWS IS ON EVERY WEEKNIGHT AT 7PM AND IS REALLY VERY GOOD then perhaps more people would watch.

This appears to be the technique applied by BBC THREE Marketing for The House Of Tiny Tearaways, which, clearly starts tomorrow at 8PM. I found the spam on screen so irritating I am not watching Doctor Who Confidential, which I otherwise would have done.

Well that would be nice but I think a lot of cash has been spent on Tiny T's - it's on every night for the whole of May AFAIK.

The House of Tiny Terrors is indeed on every night in May, however if a marketing strategy involves using a technique which makes people feel unable to watch the rest of the channel's programmes then it is surely flawed.

Didn't Midlands Today's David Gregory work for BBC3 at some point?

David Gregory was a reporter on "The News Show" I think - but I'm not sure he presented.

i watched bbc 3 news for the first time since the relaunch and i have to say it was fantastic. i wouldnt say i'll neccesarily bother making a point of watching again, perhaps because its in an odd timeslot.

i think the bbc ought to trail it a bit more though on 1 and 2. having the 6 o'clock presenter point people accross really doesnt do the show justice.
