Juliette Foster made an appearance on BBC World again todya and yesterday doing the afternoon Business news.

Darn, I have been watching for most of today but missed Juliette. Was she on with Mr. Eades or Dobbie, or both?

Well before when I saw her today she was with Geeta ... can't remember yesterday though, I was half asleep. I think it was Mishal.

I may be wrong (currently in India with my time zones all f***ed up), but did we have an extra hour of simulcast today than normal Saturday's? It was pleasant to see Tanya turning up on the news, though. She is damn good at it.

Ewww! Tanya's not fit for news... I'd prefer her presenting World Business Report in London or New York... But she's a no-no at news for me. (Just took a peek at your YouTube video, Damo.)

Why ever not? She has been presenting news on BBC for many years!! What disqualifies her, in your opinion?

Indeed, she used to present the old Weekend 24, along with regularly filling in on the main Breakfast News, where I remember her working best with Sophie Raworth, and of couse during the summer with Michael Peschard....she certainly had banter with them!

She's snobby, finishes her sentences in a mumble, and really just gets annoying! I know you weren't asking me, but I really don't like her either.

Slightly modified music to accompany a low level view of the studio at the start of the current (Jonathan Charles) bulletin just now.

Headlines and intro as normal, but after the headlines and main music, the usual aerial view of the studio was replaced by another view which was low level and head on with the desk at eye level.

Plasma had the BBC World traditional logo too, as opposed to the usual computerised maze.

Calm down, its not like shes converted to presenting news 24/7. She still does business and only fills in when World is really desperate.
