I think the gap where the ticker is supposed to be looked messier, it didn't arrive until world business report on TWT.
Edit - I have been informed by The Eye (Damian) that the ticker is never present during the first half hour of TWT, but I stand by my comment that it looks messy.
I love the new look. It's fresh and modern, and the terrible tower is finally gone. You can see the Sky influence but it's nothing new for BBC.
Music is more dramatic and should have been like this from the original relunch. But the countdown music is not the same as News 24,which I prefer.
One thing I was hoping for was a proper ending for their news and a new weather ident, but no it's still the same.
Am I mistaken in thinking that North and South America do not appear in the titles what so ever? That's a bit strange.
What were the titles on World News Today like? I was hoping they would do something similar as N24 had with the 7 o'clock news hour in that it's titles were slightly different. It will be nice to see the graphics on The World.
Sorry to ask again, but what does the BBC World DOG look like during the xx.30-xx.59 programmes? Previously it was a faint BBC WORLD where the TOG existed during the news, what about now?
I'm glad to hear that World has kept its thunderclaps for the headlines. When I tuned in this morning, they were starting each TOTH with Lucy Hockings live in Belgrade, so they used the vamp without thunderclaps. However, this afternoon, the thunderclaps are back. I also much prefer the new organisation for the TOTH headlines: 3 heads (with thunderclaps), welcome from presenter, coming up (without thunderclaps), titles. Much better than the way they were doing it.
