That curtain is far too white really. It looks much better when you can see the newsroom.

Has anyone of you figured out what the guy in the Air China commercial actually means to say?

Frankly I find the september highlights promo pathetic. Including such usual features as FastTrack and WBR amongst September's heralded fab programs seems to speak volumes for the channel's sluggishness in terms of background programing. The "peacemaker" promo on the contrary seems to suggest there's much ahead so I can't quite sort out why September is somehow foreshadowed as business as usual, with the weekly routine of programs left unhurt and unchanged.

Can you see what it is? Highlight this for the answer --> Agriculture official in Hazmat suit carrying two dead(?) chickens – i.e. Bird Flu.

Answer --> Rebel militia man(?) holding gun in direction of blindfolded captive.

Answer --> Protestor throwing object over the head of a police officer in riot uniform.

Answer --> Helmet wearing soldier lying on ground firing rifle.

What do you guys think? Personally I love them, I think they are provocative and inspired, I can see how that would easily offend some people though. IMHO though, a tremendous ad campaign.

I mean the concept behind them is smart and witty, and makes so much sense. So that means their brilliant.

Yeah, I don't like them very much...
Why should anyone be offended by them anyway?

I stared at the first one for ages trying to work out where in the world it was, then it came to me. As soon as you've worked one out though, the rest are easy!

Agreed. Good ads though. So, how else can we inject some life into this thread, chaps?

Classic David Brenner on Sport Today yesterday. He came on air and had forgotten to clip on his radio microphone, which had been left (switched on) on the other end of the desk. Much background noise and very poor sound quality from David ensued, until a hand appeared in the bottom left hand corner of the shot, trying to hand the mic to David whilst he continued seamlessly. The man didn't flinch at all.

What programme has been aired on BBC4 instead of the 8pm edition of the World for the last two weeks?
