The set and the newsroom reminds me of the good old days. But why is the glass behind them so white, you almost can't see the newsroom.

Indeed, it's nice to see it back - also fits five people around the desk a little better than N8 can for Dateline.

AFAIK the set is backed by a gauze curtain, but has occasionally been seen without it:

It looks great on that picture. I like it when you have a clear view of the newsroom and people behind them. The current News 24 and World studios don't have it.

But doesn't the cureent newsroom look all red and white?

For the whole weekend there have been no headline recaps at thirty past. I actually don't think anybody has missed them.

Really? Too bad then. I'm sure they didn't air the regular headline recap at thirty past at least two or three times on the last two days, so I assumed they were cancelled -as they should be.

Now I know I'm calling for News 24 to move from N8 to somewhere else in the News Centre, but moving it outside TVC to a location several miles from the newsroom is a bit crazy!

But in the good old days the desk was branded "Dateline London". Now its forefront looks weird with that awkward cross which looks like a four year-old attempted to draw a window.

Rico Hizon's presenting FastTrack this week. I knew that already since the promo has been quite ubiquitous on the programme trailer but I needed to see him and his flowered shirt to really believe it.

The 1000 CET bulletin featured a proper sport round-up with Rob Bonnet. It's the first time I see a BBC News bulletin aired after "The world" with the anchor person not doing the sport him/her/self. Is this new or am I completely out of the picture?
