Couldn't agree more - thats why I never trust their world forecast unless Im in the uk.

I think their forecasts were good with the old graphics, because they were longer and there was alot more information.

I recorded bits and pieces from The World Today this morning and is it just obvious that BBC World's camera colour balance is all bad again? Its not a major problem but sometimes its quite obvious.

Yes, I saw an article on the BBC Website about her leaving Tehran and her thoughts on her time in Iran some months back, so I assume she's had time off and is now back working - so we'll be seeing her without the headscarf a lot more.

Where was she based before becoming Teheran correspondent?

i can't believe a news channel like BBC World cant get a proper cammera. It's pathetic, I hope they move to News 24 set very soon.

Erm I think they have a proper camera, but the settings are just out of balance.. anyway News 24's camera settings/lighting makes the presenters look pale.. which is quite possibly worse.

She still has it around her neck though. Maybe she feels weird without it.
