Sounds a bit Willcoxian, that. She is a good presenter, though.
I have noticed that BBC World news bulletins are now ending with a sting and burst of music, as opposed to going straight to the weather presenter or to adverts or breakfiller, as was formerly the case.

I only noticed that 25minutes ago lol, don't like the choice of sting as its a rather sudden cut.

I agree, Damo.
Good thing Anita is not there any longer, as she was prone to giving a long stare down the (far studio left) camera at the end of her bulletins, which she remained fixed with even when we went to the overhead closing shot with full closing music. The new "sting" would be too abrupt for Anita's usual dramatic endings. LOL.
In fact, I am sure you will have a clip of that somewhere in your archives - the ice maiden of BBC World uttering the words "and that's all from the BBC World Newsroom.........for the moment......."!
Come back, Anita!

Depends where you are watching. Weather is not sponsored in all parts of the world. While some parts get a sponsorship sting, other parts get a music sting.

I see.
I live in the Middle East, and we always had a mixture of either no sting or sponsor sting, depending on the programme.
Today, it's BBC World sting, and then weather. We no longer go straight to the weather presenter as the next frame. I like this new way better.
