I hope Anita is re-united with her husband quickly as well as the other person who is also being held hostage.

I certainly echo those sentiments. But I'm still wondering why they are so stubbornly reluctant to mention the fact that she used to be part of the BBCWorld family as an ex-anchor person. Even a veteran newsreader like Alistair Yates failed to mention the thing.

I've just seen Anita Mcnaught on BBC World making appeal for her husband. It was really sad and after that David reminded us that she used to work for BBC, his voice was a bit shaky.

Yeah, I know. It's kinda sad. David Jessel said, "And that was Anita McNaught; you may (also) remember her during her days here on BBC World."

Yes, I like the way David Jessel handled that.
A very emotional yet strong appeal, I really wish her and her husband soon reunited.

Don't see what the fuss is about. Loads of people get taken hostage every day. Why should someone get more attention because they're the husband of some has-been TV newsreader?

Because we like Anita McNaught. This does not mean that the life of her husband is more important than the lives of other hostages. We just wish him and her well.

I see what the fuss is about - a human life is at stake. I think Anita and her husband deserve the attention. Anyway, much more publcity was given to Ken Bigley, and he was just an ordinary citizen from Liverpool. Anita has made a plea on BBC World. The Ken Bigley story was all over the papers, BBC, ITV, Sky, CNN etc.

His kidnapping coverage was a bit OTT, and most people think he is a jerk.

Anyway, here are some caps from Have Your Say today... looks rather nice in the National set or where ever it is.

that laptop looks a bit precarious! And unnecessary with PCs built into the desk? I think that's N6 with the grey floor, TC7 is black.

It would be nice if the excellent Peter Dobbie got his hair back to it's former glory - it doesn't look good in those caps
