Lyse Doucet is an excellent journalist and broadcaster.

Bravo on the award, Lyse!

Indeed. One of the best on BBC World. I've always enjoyed watching her broadcasts, both in the studio and in the field, over the last decade. She's definitely a credit to the BBC.

I'd personally like to see her make more appearences on the nationals (in terms of reporting)! She's on BBC World all the time but rarely on 24 or nationals.

Though I can see in the future...
'Now on BBC1 the Ten O'Clock News with Lyse Duchet and Riz Lateef' - anyone else?

That's because she works for BBC World. It's the same as World viewers not seeing Fiona Bruce. She does make the odd appearance on domestic outlets when she's presenting on location (usually in the Middle East or South Asia) but that's only because she's out there for BBC World.

A full page image of Zeinab Badawi on The Economist, advertising her edition of World News Today. "Your guide to the world. Watch Zeinab Badawi weekdays at 2000CET". Very Badawi-centric.

Perhaps the same ad as the one in Time this week?

She sometimes does Hardtalk, and hosts an hour or two of World News after WNT... and she does Reporters.

Does Tim Willcox present on BBC World a lot, and does he do any relief shifts in the week? I've noticed he's been doing the Sunday World News section on News 24 quite often lately.
