I suspect we'll see a lot of News 24 and BBC World non-news shows disappear from our screens. I think the cost cutting won't just be confined to main news production.

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw fewer shows repeated more frequently.

Have Your Say was a different show in some ways as it was a production for both BBC World and BBC World Service Radio - but shows don't go on forever.

I also noticed that one of the production staff is called Kevin Gearey. Is it the same one who used to present for BBC News Sport?

No - two different people.

Will WBR, Sport Today and Asia Today stay around? I hope fast track stays.

BBC World just interrupted Fast Track for some live coverage from Noordwijk. First time seeing the sting though.

I think they should dump all their shows and just have full hour of BBC News.

I would think WBR is pretty safe - it is an integral part of the World daily schedule. I would think Asia Today is pretty safe, and Sport Today for that matter.

Flight Track and Click are probably the two best regarded and most watchable features shows, alongside Hardtalk, and I suspect they are safer than most. Other stuff is on dodgier ground I suspectl

Be a pity to see Dateline London - it is the last original News 24 launch show I think (and still using the original music!)

No, that would just make the channel quite boring. I assume they would get rid of Hardtalk Extra and Extratime?

Would the axing of Dateline and Hardtalk Extra, leave Gavin Esler without a job?
