I notice that CNNI refer to the crisis in Aisa as taking place in Myanmar where as BBC News 24 refer to it as Burma. What is BBC World calling the country? And who is right?

Burma was renamed to Myanmar by the military government but as the UK doesn't recognize the military regime we haven't accepted or used the name change in the UK

I read a thing on Sky.com/news about the reference of them and both are correct.

Didn't we have the same issue with Cambodia/Kampuchea? I suppose the BBC should refer to both names for the sake of clarity* until such time as the UN officially recognises the new regime (or not).

*I know that doesn't sound like clarity, but maybe some people do accept the new regime in which case they will wish to hear the new name. I'm sure that makes sense.

I don't like what they've done to the Washington set.. from the World News Today and World News America promo's it looks a bit small and boring.

I have a feeling that is definatly an N6/TC7 clone. I don't know why, it's just the way the layout is.

Well actually,it looks lke the old set with a new desk and backdrops.
