Correct me if i'm wrong but I couldn't help but notice a story on Asia Today about pirated goods and a guy in the background attacking a pirate was continuously yelling "F*** blah blah F*** blah blah F*** blah blah"

Just as Mishal introduces a story about clear images from space, the camera starts getting extremely blurry!

Seeing as no-ones mentioned it, Matt Frei is to host the new BBC World News America bulletin with Katty Kay effectively swapping places with him. October 1st also sees the start of the new overnight World News Today with Philippa Thomas in Washington, the overnight presenter and someone else.

Anyone know how this will affect BBC News 24?
Will this mean an end to the overnight similcasting or will TWT be axed for this new WNT going out just a couple of hours earlier?

I don't see why. TWT and the following two bulletins are aimed at European audiences as they wake up and have breakfast. The new WNT is aimed at US audiences during their evening (their morning programme being the WNT at 1100GMT). It's just like about 12 hours later: the WNT at 1600GMT is aimed at Asia, but just two hours later at 1800GMT, there is one for Europe. So, I would guess TWT will be staying.

Random Question ... how big is BBC Worlds plasma?

Something has definitely changed with regards to the cameras. As soon as a switched BBC World on late last night, I noticed how clear the main presenter camera shot was compared to how it has been for a while now. I've just tuned in now and it is still very clear...hurrah!

Anyone else notice that BBC WORLD now has a new breakfiller on their Asia Pacific feed. Is it all over the world or only in Asia.

I noticed the new breakfiller too. It seems that its geared towards a specific region - Asia, North America. When it displayed show times, Denver, New York and Vancouver came up. Gone were Delhi, Hong Kong, Sydney...etc
