Nice to see Martine Croxall presenting the news during daytime for a change.

.....and nice to see Juliette Foster presenting the news again too. And also nice to see Deborah MacKenzie doing a daytime programme too. I think she is actually much better than any of us give her credit for.

Deborah MacKenzie is great, I just love it when she's presenting the news, although I like to see her through the night. The overnight shift belongs to her, and to Alastair Yates.

Martine Croxall done the TWT shift this morning, she seems good with another presenter.

A lot of presenters out of their normal slots this week. I like it. Namely:

Lucy Hockings doing a late shift. Lyse Doucet doing WNT. Nish Pillai doing WNT. Martine Croxall doing TWT. David Eades with early morning.

I love how we are surprised by who turns up on screen and I far prefer this approach than a strictly bound timetable.

Maryam needs a bigger studio to contain her personality.

And Laura Trevelyan is presenting from the London newsroom, after leaving her place as UN correspondent.
Is the former UN correspondent Suzannah Price still working somewhere in the BBC? I haven't seen her for a long time.
