Some strange camera work during BBC WN. Usual head-on close-up shot of the main presenter reading to camera (Kirsty Lang) suddenly panning out to reveal a wide shot of the desk and the business presenter (EC) alongside, as she handed over to him for the short biz segment.

I've noticed that since last night (not including overnight bulletins) till now, the ticker/dog has been a few pixels shorter, not as short as it was a few weeks ago though.

When is the overnight (0200GMT?) edition of WNT due to start?

Starts in October. All in the planning stages afaik.

Well ive noticed now for the 2nd week that Rico has been doing an edition of WBR at 0230GMT and on my Sky epg here in NZ it says World News Today 1400- 1500NZT (0200-0300GMT) already.

The same happens on my Sky epg here in Italy, hence why I asked when was WNT due to start.
Do you mean that the 0230GMT WBR edition is not a prerecorded one but hosted by Rico Hizon? What about the 0245GMT Sport Today?

The 0230GMT WBR is Live (i'm sure of it judging from the 2 live editions of Asia Business Report)... and the 0245GMT Sport Today is a repeat of the 2045GMT edition of Sport Today.

Interesting, I'll watch it, I've never seen the Singapore studio.

Looks as though the output is 4:3 to me....hence floating dog...

Yes, the location of the dog is the same when compared to World News bulletins, Its just that its black bars top and below during it.
