He looked very nervous to me. I like someone younger tho. I enjoy Mishal on WNT by the time i got up it was almost over here in the US.
I adore her. she is my favorite.

Eventhough she has a family, I hope Mishal gets selected as the new washington presenter for the 7 pm show starting in the fall.

Yes, Mishal is indeed good. I recall her many years ago being a presenter of the BBC's World Business Report, alongside the likes of Tanya Beckett, Adrian Finighan, Richard Quest, Peter Coe and Teymoor Nabili.

Of all of those, only Tanya and Mishal remain at the BBC, whilst the others have all gone to other news organisations (Adrian, Richard and Teymoor), whilst Peter has given up TV altogether!!

However, I think Mishal is better known at World for her time when she paired up with Adrian Finighan and they both anchored the transatlantic version of BBC World News. Both have remained close friends, having entered BBC World at around the same time, IIRC.

On the subject of nostalgia, I regularly wonder what has happened to other past names from BBC World and wonder precisely what they are doing now?

Peter Coe / Carla Garapedian / Melinda Wittstock / Nici Marx / Donald MacCormack / Keshini Navaratnam / Anita McNaught / Roger Finn / Philip Hayton

At least the following World anchors are still visible in some sort of capacity elsewhere:

Tim Sebastian / Teymoor Nabili / Stephen Cole / Veronica Pedrosa / Adrian Finighan / Mark Longhurst

I like it like this, I hope it aint a mistake!

I don't see the difference, but what I have noticed is the gap between the BBC World DOG and the Business, Sport, Headlines text has grown, and it does not looks good, the astons are the best ever that BBC World have had, thanks to Virtz, if they combined with the presentation of yesteryear then BBC World would be truely fantastic then!

Is it me or what, the dog and the ticker seem to have shifted back to the original height. It looked much thinner yesterday. Shocked

The difference is the height in the ticker, and the ticker with the big gap when HEADLINES, SPORT etc come on is another version or something of the ticker lol

GRRR they gone back to the original height of the ticker/dog Mad Mad looks worse than it did before.

I cannot imagine Anita McNaught working for FoxNews.
