Where is 'World's' main studio (N9) located relative to 'News 24's' studio N8 in Television Centre? Are they in the same floor? Howabout the set used for World Business Report, Sport Today and World News Today? If it's a separate studio, what name is given to it?


WBR and Sport Today's set is just right IN FRONT of the main desk.

EDIT: Damo, you're right! There are more versions of WNT coming. But who'll be the anchors (aside from George Alagiah and Zeinab Badawi)? Nik Gowing and Jonathan Charles? Or maybe someone else will front any of these 2 bulletins? Scratch Head


Nik Gowing will present the 4pm edition which launches at the end of the month. The 3am one based at the US will be a three-way between Washington (Philippa Thomas), London (Overnight presenter) and the Singapore business bureau. That will launch in September.


Oooh I don't like the idea of a three-way edition.... I thought that if Katty Kay presented an edition of WNT from Washington to replace the PBS Bulletins, then BBC World's "best" content would go out... I don't know.


it's normally for Katty to present the flagship from washington as Washington regular presenter on BBC but what about Philippa Thomas

BBC Worlds camera settings must have been fixed and i noticed some lights were on for once! The set looks better than it has in a while, although it would be good if blown light bulbs were replaced Razz

First shot is from late last year, 2nd from last week, 3rd from today...

If anyone of you has seen this: There was a vigil (few minutes silence) for Gaza correspondent Alan Johnston outside BBC Television Center (anchor: Mishal Husain), the BBC's Deputy Director-General gave a speech regarding Alan's release. I wish him well. Sad
