I don't know what goes on to install things onto the playout systems at the BBC, but perhaps they were installing the new title graphics and music?

Interesting new look. Thank goodness the lime-green has gone!

Also they've changed the presenter seating position for the better - and got rid of the "jump mix" between two wide shots after the opening titles.

All I can say is... What an annoying presenter. I've never seen him before. What's with the head nodding, stupid local radio DJ voice and the way he... put in gaps for no apparant reason.

The titles are nice, but that countdown thing at the start is poor.

I must admit Johnny C does get on my nerves a bit.... perfectly adequate reporter, but too much headnodding!

What did they have to rehearse? Badwadi has done The World in the same set.

You have obviously not read this thread or have neither seen The World and WNT.

Arrogant git, you've obviously never seem him present. He only seems to nod in the TOTHs not when reading into stories, he has a lot more class than you and his highly respected. Don't judge him by 1minute of video. http://www.rp-networkservices.com/tvforum/uploads/finger.gif Stupid Fool

I like him, he's got an energy not seen in other boring BBC World presenters (except Nisha Pillei). What would you say if Richard Quest was to present on BBC World. I think someone could get a heart attack.

He did - on World Business Report at least. I seem to recall that his on-screen partnership with Paddy O'Connell worked extremely well on the WBR before Quest left for CNN.

Please understand, I didn't mean any offence. By saying I'd never seen him before, it was clear that, yes, I was judging him on one minute of video. It was simply a few passing comments.

I don't think your tone was appropriate. It never normally is when you speak to me. Just because I have a different opinion to yourself, it doesn't mean you can be rude to me as you just did.
