That was my question, itsrobert. When its 5am GMT, BBC1, N24, and BBC World carry TWT. That's 3 channels! How about WNT on BBC4, N24 (I hope), and BBC World (12nn GMT and 9pm GMT, Alagiah and Gowing editions)?

1) Why would you care if News 24 carried WNT? From what I gather, you don't live in the UK, so you shouldn't care less about N24. You can watch WNT on BBC World, so what's the problem?
2) Why would News 24 want to saddle themselves with a structured bulletin including WBR at such a peak time as 7pm when they already have News 24 Tonight at that time? Plus, they need flexibilty for breaking domestic news. Tonight's proceedings have been a prime example. During the 8pm hour, major developments unfolded in the Madeleine McCann case. News 24 were free to roll with this with Jane Hill in Portugal and bring viewers up to date with the latest news. In the process, they ditched all the other news until well after 9pm. I switched over to BBC World at 9pm to see what WNT was doing. You guessed it, the McCann story didn't even feature in the headlines, never mind rolling news. So, why would N24 want to restrict themselves by broadcasting WNT which focusses on world news? BBC World viewers won't be interested in domestic stories and most UK viewers won't be interested in a special report on XYZ in Botswana. The only reason TWT is simulcast domestically is that it is on at 5am when they only have about 2 viewers. If it was peak viewing time, they wouldn't be broadcasting it.

OK, so I got it. Maybe only BBC4 might have WNT in their lists (according to another topic).
The Sports anchor Amanda froze completely when Jonathan Charles engaged her in some banter at the end of a piece during Asia Today, and she could not speak.
At the end of the same bulletin, unaware that his mic hadn't been faded down, Jono turned to Amanda to engage in further chit chat and we were able to hear the conversation.
Opening of the next bulletin, Mike Embley's mic was faded up too soon, and we could hear him mutter to the gallery whilst the opening theme music was being played. He was reacting to a last minute change in running order where he was told to throw straight to Portugal for a live police press conference on the missing child.
And.......Jonathan Charles is STILL wearing his pink shirt!
