As someone said in here a few days ago, sport is more important for some than breathing

I don't think BBC Breakfast got the balance right this morning regarding the Japanese typhoon. 18 dead and thousands of people's lives ruined, followed by Ben T and Sally N laughing at the footage of the Japanese rugby team negotiating a flooded staircase, followed by 'thank god the match today is going ahead'
JAS84, itsrobert and BBI45 gave kudos

It seems to have been reported widely in the context of the Rugby World Cup rather than a natural disaster. WalesOnline has the headline "Rugby World Cup Latest: 18 dead", which makes it sound like a particularly brutal match.

Yeah, there's been more deaths confirmed since then too, so it's still a developing story. Laughing at the floods was in bad taste.

I'm sure it was accidental but even so it was a mistake by the subs.

There seems to have been an extra '0' added to the '100' in the Beyond 100 Days title, presuming as it's now over 1000 Days since Trump took office.
