BBC World News: Presentation

Don't know if they did that last TOTH, but the way they used the screen just then with the 'clear' map (with the newroom in the background supposedly showing through) and the correspodent appearing to the left of it really did look stunning. Almost made me forgive them for making Jonathan Charles look stupid and awkward stanind next to the screen...

Have they showed any aerial shots yet?

ooo great stuff up there by the gallery. Cut to a shot of Jonathan walking away from standing at the screen back to his seat instead of to the business presenter. Mics were wrong too.

This WBR is standing up at screens with a thingy that the laptop is sitting on, better than the desk imo.

Eades is on now, I assume he will present until the news hour, then Lucy will join him. Then after the news hour Lucy will present until George's WNT. I could be wrong!

I wish everything was wireless on the desk, it looks so messy and I don't like the laptops!

i just thought of this, why don't they put the scoreboard on they wall?

I would have thought the same thing, but it sounds like they might be alternating each hour. The Sport Today presenter (I'm afraid I can't recall his name) just said that Lucy will be up next with the news.

Has anyone else noticed there is an awful echo from the new studio. Sounds rubbish.

Possibly because the text is small enough as it is when its on full screen, putting it on the wall will make it near impossible to read. I was thinking the same thing but I don't think it would work.
