BBC WORLD NEWS are now showing an opaque DOG in the bottom left of the screen, although this is a non-news programme.

hmm... their using N9 on Overnight. i still wonder if WBR & Sport today will use the dark N9 set.

I agree. The laptops truly are unecessary. In fact, they're the only thing that really reminds you that it is the old New 24 set, otherwise I imagine most people probably would just see it as a renovation of the old World set.

Is it just me or is there a slightly different transition between stories in the News In Brief sections? Doesn't have the white background in the rings. is it just the previous and next shot between the wipes. They've finally got rid of that awul purple wipe?

Actually the whole thing was let down by the fact that they had the "NODDING DOG" from the parcel shelf of eveyones' car as the first image in N8!

I think the purple was just a mistake with no image being on it. I've certainly seen this wipe before though, just not often enough!
