BBC World News: Presentation

It's not hard to tell most of the design effort has been on the titles and studio..the straps and ticker are not the best.

I don't like the grey with red (it just doesn't work as well) and the off white straps are a bit stark and bland.

The website super is grey and white (similar grey background to the ticker).

and the small white caption above, lines up with the dog.

Wow, the recycling goes on and on!! This very much looks like Sky News 2005, and the simple 2D sliding on-off animation reminds me of that too.

Not that I mind. Except I miss the "smoked glass" look of the black straps I think.

Oh dear, the on screen graphics are a HUGE step back, god, we must beg that they revert them back, the 2007 ones were so much more classy!

I didn't particularly like the 2007 graphics.

However, having seen these, the 2007 graphics are much superior and this is a massive step back in time.

I think its the Gill Sans that lets it down. I don't think its an appropriate font for a ticker. After all, Helvetica is known for its readability.

Yes, it would be much better is Helvetica, or even a lighter version of Gill Sans (Even though I HATE Gill Sans)

And everything is so blocky!

It is good that the annoying voice is gone from the end of the countdown.

I fail to see what your problem is with the countdown? I think the music is great, you've not even seen News 24's now!
