Though BBC WORLD might like to see it!?

...Wait a moment, Ben Brown reporting for NZ's One News?
Anyway Anita McNaught looks great, it's astonishing to see how many times she's changes her look.

Ben was almost certainly reporting for the BBC (notice there was no payoff). TVNZ have access to BBC News reports - they used to (and possibly still do) get a clean feed of the Ten O'Clock News as a block booking, and may also have access to the clean effects replays.

Ah BBC World will soon leave its home after ten long years, let's hope BBC World makes even better use of N8, at least it will now benefit with better cameras, lighting grid and better VT effects.

N8s cameras and lighting was terrible though. It will only be better if they have new cameras etc.

"It's great that so many of you took the time out to comment on the new look and the new name of the channel, thank you. It's also a relief to hear that on the whole you like the changes! What we have now is a brand that fits in with all the different parts and programmes that BBC News as a whole offers (both internationally, in the UK and online) and the hope is that this consistency will make it easier for viewers to find and recognise our content. Your feedback does really matter, for instance, as a result of comments received I'm going to be revisiting some of the colours within our promotions to make sure that they are easier to read.. Look out for the new studio, which is coming within a month and do please continue to feed back on any area of the brand, look an style of the channel, it's really useful to get real peoples' opinions! Thanks again."

I'm assuming he's therefore ignoring the majority's opinion.

Damo, thanks very much for the link. Only just managed to find time to watch it now, although you posted it several days ago.

I wish the "Ice Maiden" would return to BBC World News actually. Sorely missed.

LOL, is the gallery being upgraded as well?

Interesting that some of the screens are still in use!
