It looks like that section was filmed recently as it shows Matthew A on College Green, so presumably around the time of the local elections?

Is there anything to say that gallery was live at the time, could they have just pulled up feeds to fill the screens?


The set wasn't removed until the weekend after the elections

Just received this week's e-bulletin from the BBC World News Viewer Panel facilitators. Good that BBC Worldwide has consistently invested in gauging viewer reaction on a whole raft of issues. Only problem is that the company undertaking the research still think that the channel is called BBC World, and furthermore have used an off-brand logo in their communication. Brilliant.

BTW... the DOG of the News Channel (plus the Clock) had shown up on BBC World (News) at 1000 PHIL (0300 BST) and on BBC World News Hour (0500 BST) for 15 min.
