finally...
even the non-licence fee payer viewer of BBC World (News) can now have their say on the broadcast graphics!

If you are a subscriber of their viewer panel, maybe you can click on this...

for me... it's 2 thumbs down...
except for the music and BBC World News America.

Erm... I'd advise posting a different link. Your personal details are rather visable once the survey is completed.

Maybe worth not actually quoting the link then, just a thought?

yup. i forgot that the user details can be seen...
but i do not anymore use that account, but anyways... fairly poor is most of my ratings.

why do they have to ask some stupid questions, like...
* Have you seen the recent changes blah blah...
* Have you seen the new ticker blah blah...

i hate those questions...

----------

btw... some people are still not used to the "BBC World News" name after 2 weeks!

World News Today - 0400 GMT (South Asia) with Mike Embley...
"This is World News Today from BBC World... these are the latest headlines from BBC World News."

and something like this on 01 May's Breakfiller...

I can't believe they still haven't fixed the massive problem with the breakfiller (asia pacific stream at least).

There is NO SOUND for the business/markets screen (yup just pure silence) and the 'coming up' screen music cuts out for the last 5 seconds, leaving silence again.

What the hell is going on? Is this true for people watching on other streams too?

Its on all I think. On the first day of the updated breakfiller, the Business sounded like... http://www.rp-network.com/tvforum/uploads/bfbusiness.mp3

Why didn't BBC World update countdown footage when they relaunched? Its getting boring now. They could have added some with presenters such as Jonathan in Moscow (that would of looked good with all those buildings and snow), Lyse in erm Lebanon and perhaps Nik in Davos.

Yes I get this too on the European feed, I thought it was my receiver at first.

Same thing is happening in Canada as well.

Oh I saw that! It didn't just sound like that - it kept disappearing and entering every time the music restarted! It was like an avant-garde mash up!

looks to me that they think that we don't care about the weird music or the loss of audio on the fillers. it has been a long time.

Um I don't think its that. I'm sure they'll change it eventually, there are more important things than a peice of music that cuts out for 2seconds.

but sometimes it ends up looping, these breakfiller problems started when they changed the channel branding, all they've done is change the background, added a BBC World News square logo, but its caused some glitch.

They've changed a bit more than that.
