BBC World is using the Breaking News ticker, but it looks silly with red straps/dog and now ticker!

Yeah, BBC News should really get used to the idea of using the normal ticker when the breaking news strap is up, and afterwards moving the breaking news down to a red ticker when they move on and go to white straps (unless of course there are multiple breaking news items occurring).

Sky have done this for ages, why is it so difficult for the BBC?

It was no different in the 2007-2008 era. News 24 looked like that for quite a bit of the time.

Yes, but at least one red had gradients/colour change etc, and the ticker was flat red. Now they are both identical colours!

Shame they are dropping 'non-news' from BBC WN. When I went to Poland, Top Gear and occasional HIGNFY kept me sane...

As I say in the description, it's shown in front of the news programs when returning from commercial breaks and when comparing it to the BBC One graphic it looks identical. I just found it strange and I don't recall it being used previously.

Looks like BBC America is adopting aspects of the BBC One look. I've seen one of the BBC One idents modified for BBCA and all the promos now have that look too.

huh? Have I Got... had been shown on BBC World?
Actually, the "new" BBC World (News) is almost the same with BBC World... maybe they'll be show Top Gear in a later time...

Last night... everything is just flat red!
I'm almost sick of seeing it! I hope i will never see it again!

Are new titles on the way for World Business Report? New titles for Middle East Business Report are being featured in this week's promos.

If there are they had better not touch the music. That is one of the only surviving themes from the 1990s now and still sounds very fresh after 11 years of use.

Are those the ones that look like India Business Reports? If so I'm pretty sure they're old.

However, if they do give WBR a new look when the World News Today Business Edition starts, I do hope as well that the music remains.

EDIT: Hmm it seems they have changed the MEBR ones...

BBCA seems have have deviated from the 'a' look. Now I only see them on episode credits and MA warnings.
