Hi everyone,
To be honest I must say N9 has a more urgent feeling and looks more authoritive than the usual BBC World newsroom. The lighting seems brighter which makes the presenter more important and the background is well visible yet not distracting so The childish-looking 'stickers' on the glass in the usual newsroom I think are a wasteful distraction instead of consistent branding.
Only the desk and the screen behind the presenter are better in the newer studio, I believe. In N9, the desk looks less shiny and the screen more like an out-dated plasma. Though, I like the whole sharp, colourful yet sober and serious feeling of N9.
Yeah, it's all just personal perception but perhaps anyone agrees? Or vehemently disagrees?
