BBC World News: Presentation

I didn't notice any changes in the studio. It looks the same to me.

I haven't seen the whole set, just the regular shots and the newswall shot looks much better now cause we don't see presenters' legs anymore. It's obvious they moved the desk a bit to the front.

But why would they remove the right projector screen??? It looked very nice and could be used for sport and business??

Also I see they still don't have a wide shot at the opening, very bad.

I can tell they've moved the desk, and they've also re-frosted a bit behind Adnan.

I don't like too much frosted glass, they didn't need to add it, that shot of Adnan looked better before.

Lucy Hockings and David Eades were presenting and Lucy ended the presentation, before the break.
Then after the break, what I saw was the presenter's chair ~vacant and a very nervous David saying the welcome lines! (At first, the camera was only on the chair ...and THEN it turned to David..hehe...it was so funny)

The main presenter backdrop isn't much better really.

They've changed it around since the 5am GMT hour. They did use a really nice stand up position, with a filmed newsroom in the background, with realistic frosting.

EDIT: But Zeinab seems to of moved her chair...

The main shot of the presenter used to be better cause it showed more of the left side with the gallery. Now it's just the frosted glass and white wall. Not a very good change overall.

these new camera angles are not very good it has to be said, I like to see what the newsreaders were drinking before the start of their bulletin

You do know they are completely different shots?!

It would seem to get a better Pres+Video wall shot they have compromised the main pres mcu. This hasn't been thought about, yes the video wall shot is 100 times better but now the mcu in front of the gallery is just a white pillar. C'mon BBC.
