BBC World News: Presentation

Just watched the BBC World News one minute summary on the international version of the BBC News website and there is an interesting camera shot 18 seconds in. Seems they went to a camera not a video. Apologies I cannot capture it.

Sorry to digress; this really should be in presenters & rotas, but to answer the question:

So they gave Guy Goma a job after all?

He's a regular on the BBC World Service's morning programme The World Today, his accent is fairly strong but easy to get used to.

There is meant to be a BBC News European Election Special at 20.30GMT, and its gonna be 4 hours long.

Will it be the same one that BBC2 are carrying?

ah so not the same as the BBC2 then which will have Bumblebee.

The coverage of the European Elections had been mostly with David Eades together with his 2 guest since the results had started showing up, since 09:15 BST (08:50 is with Dumbelbee).... and has just ended.

but I wonder why is it the stream that has been given for International Viewers is, i guess, the same being shown in the UK?
