The tweaked standard news titles / stings are no biggy, looks to me like theyre lacking in detail than previous.

Hard to tell from the low bitrate feed we have to suffer with Smile Judging from the shots of the studio backing animation, they have been cleaned up a bit and crisper colours

Not much difference, the look more zoomed in. Music has more of a dance feel to it.

I think the text on the ticker looks better when it's in capitals... As per the market updates. The lower case doesn't sit well at all.

Mixed Case is much more readable than Upper Case, but perhaps with a better font (blah blah blah, ranting on)

The ticker with the great big CONTACT US and HEADLINES in the white boxes is very Sky newsy!

I think they are following Euronews, because whenever they show their ticker... it looks just like that.
But it just made it a bit boring.

Like the Global titles.

Not as impressed with Global with Jon Sopel. The titles are a bit strange, I couldn't really discern any meaning from them. Not a fan of the lavender lighting in the studio, either. Sopel is a very refreshing host, however. Great interviewing style.

I quite like Global titles and set set up, but one thing that bugs me with studios like this on a Live 24/7 channels is the fact that it doesn't feel live where as a newsroom and background noise made it feel live... If anyone gets where I am coming from.

The colour scheme for Global gives off a feeling that it's a program that would be played at 9pm at night.. its 4am where I am might just be me lol

Finally treated to a 30second countdown and can't say I am fan of the new music at all. Sounds like a bit of a shambles to be honest.

It seems this is where the BBC put the Orchestra music, and mixed it with Lowe's effects...
Global seems interesting, since it looks like it will be an interview-driven program...

Kinda feel like with all that vast studio space one loses that nice feel that World used to have. Looking forward to seeing a standard bully instead of all these branded programmes.
