Karin Giannone's in the newsroom in front of Studio E's gallery. You can see that the bank of screens that have been placed in front of the gallery's doors, on top of a cabinet.

Is it me or does one of the screens on the left look very much like the cream era BBC World breakfiller?

I believe that was the stand-by pattern for Reuters newsfeed, and below (the blue one) is for AP.

I was just going to say that it looked strikingly like the 2002/3 regional news colour scheme.

Isn't it about time they sorted out the Facebook typo on the BBC World News ticker?

It should say facebook.com/bbcworldnews - the above URL doesn't go to anything!

Can somebody explain to me the location of the studio where the normal World News Bulletins with the London skyline are broadcasted, in relation to the IMPACT/GLOBAL/GMT studios?

Aren't studios B & C not next door to each other in the basement, along with studio A?
I could be wrong though.

I only know that the GMT/GLOBAL studio ist right next to the IMPACT studio, but I am wondering where the studio with the London skyline is located.

Both GMT, Global & Impact share studio B if I'm not mistaken (also home to Newsnight, The Andrew Marr Show & the Sunday Politics).

The basement studios are quite close to the Bakerloo and Victoria lines:

Guardian posted:
Architects said that one of the most complex features of the New Broadcasting House project was contending with the rattle of the underground lines below – Lucy Homer from Sheppard Robson said the building sat on "blocks of stainless steel industrial springs" to dampen the vibration from the Bakerloo and Victoria lines.

Yeah both studios make up Studio B and the one with the skyline is Studio C, we can only presume they are quite close to each other in proximity, Studio D is used for props I read somewhere.

Do we know when BBC London moves out of its temporary studio in the Egton Wing (AFAIR) and into Studio D?
