There is obviously no one supervising the graphics. Really bad!

Yup! Poor Tanya looks quite frustrated by the gremlins.

Does anyone remember BBC World News is 22 years old today?

BBC News 24/News channel's 10 year anniversary passed by without even a mention on the air too.

I think it's just a BBC Thing. They didn't really make a fuss about it when Television was 75 Years Old. Thinking about it ITV don't really ever make a fuss unlike Channel 4.

It varies - I seem to remember TV60 in the eighties. Channel 4 made a deal of their 25th in 2007, but not their 30th last year (although S4C did)

ITV celebrated their 50th in 2005 (although the non-ITV Plc regions didn't do local programming) though before then, the anniversaries of individual companies were celebrated (Anglia and Tyne Tees spring to mind). Individual ITV companies still celebrate anniversaries in their news programmes.

How often is that desk actually used at full height? The couple of times I've caught Newsnight recently it's been used in the 'coffee table' mode, and that's certainly how it seems to be treated on Impact and Global.

It's used in full height for GMT and 2 regular WN bulletins at 18.00 & 19.00 cet.
