Hilarious moment from Aaron Heslehurst just now, expressing his frustration at the camera's slow pan towards the plasma displaying finance figures by throwing his arms out around its FOV and grunting "I'll just push! the! camera! over!".

Last night on GMT, Aaron was suppose to show market updates, but the plasmas are showing the Newspaper frontpage (which I suspect is for Newsnight because of the dark background)... he's getting animated, hitting the plasma with his paper script and saying "take those papers off!" but unfortunately, they just cannot put the figures on the screen at all...

kinks are still happening on BBC WN after 3 weeks in NBH, what is happening?

Yes, and a technical problem a while ago halfway through the WBR titles.

Seems like these kind of errors are permanent part of World, they were always there, no matter if it's TVC or fancy new NBH. Is the problem in people who work there then?

I never see stuff like this happening on CNNI, even during it's worse years.

Anyway, it's kinda fun so I'm not complaining. Cool

Its because the BBC puts all its faith in automation systems which don't quite work properly.

CNN knows that people are its best investment and has a fully staffed gallery.

Yes I believe Sky News also has a fully staffed gallery and, although I'm not a regular viewer, I don't notice many mistakes on there either.

Except those good ol' Sky News days uploaded on YouTube when the crane/jib camera suddenly hits a part of the set or the camera cannot find Martin Stanford. Laughing

Ah yes, but that clip shows human error, not automation.

Will Middle East, India, Africa, Russia Business Report adopt the new WBR titles anytime soon? I've always found it odd that World and Asia have one set of titles and the others have another.

On the trails they use the new logo, I'm sure. I remember seeing India being green in its colour. Can't remember others though.

I have a feeling that Africa & Russia Business Reports were one-off series, and does not intend to be weekly like Middle East & India... especially that Africa has Focus on Africa .

while Middle East...

The Middle East Business Report title card is too much safe for 14:9, it would only fit for widescreen.
