yep, it is the old bird...
the old bird is the one pointing straight-forward, and the new (current) one is pointing upward...

It has to be the new bird and nothing else now. No 't' or old bird, etc

I have to say - it all looks VERY untidy. Really don't like the updated graphics. Studio looks meh.

From what was shown of the new countdown, I like it! The red beams of news or whatever, were looking a bit naff esp when hitting the satellite dishes. This keeps the theme but improves it vastly. Great! Looking forward to seeing the News Channel version now.
