Damn BBC World, teasing us with their HD-quality broadcast... but they still don't offer HD officially... :/
The picture quality is also much better now during weather.

I'm sure they launched a HD feed in Asia Pacfic on Intelsat 19 at 166oE, and also on Time Warner Cable in the USA.

Asia Business Report and Sport Today make way for HARDtalk: Stephen Sackur's interview with the late Venezuelan President.
BBC WN Newsday is doing a single-presenter newscast because of the Hugo Chavez's death...
but I guess they will still follow the regular schedule.

I suppose the edition of HARDtalk already scheduled later tonight will run as usual, but would be surprised if all editions of Asia Business Report and Sport Today get bumped - there's still other news happening around the world!

12:30 GMT edition of Asia Business Report & Sport Today has just been bumped, to give way for a special "BBC World News" bulletin...
I agree, I'll be surprised, especially everybody wants to see a wrap up of Manchester United v Real Madrid match!

I think BBC WN aired the 10:30am MNL time edition of Asia Business Report was aired live as well...
though I get the feeling that the interviews was done while they are off air.
The Singapore time 11:30am ABR is now airing LIVE.

Does Sky NZ get BBC World's SD NTSC (29.blahblahblah fps) feed, opposed to NZ standard (25 fps as in PAL)?
BBC World News on Sky here in NZ is terrible quality still but the feed TV One use to play over night is fantastic quality, definitely looks HD
