does anyone think the world studio looks too cluttered? or Is It just me??

It is a tad. As much as people seem to like seeing the cameras, I think they add to the clutter, although there's not much they can do about that with the current design.

No it all adds to the broadcast, it's a good thing seeing robot cameras on the move.

I stand corrected. Prior to 2013 news broadcasts were really missing something because we had no robotic cameras. I don't see what it adds at all and as bazinga says there seems to be way too much stuff cramped into one space. It will be weird for News 24 to go from the awfully empty N6 to a potentially cluttered Studio E.

I don't think it's a major issue - the sets look new, modern and vibrant - but if I had one gripe it would be the clutter.

Paddy O'Connell is off for this week's Weekend World, substitute for this week is Aaron Heslehurst... and I believe he is not the usual substitute as for as I remember, or is he?

Nope. It's his first time. Regular fillers before have been Razia Iqbal, Fiona Foster, Rajan Datar and Her Royal Highness, Tanya Beckett.

Aaron will be good.

Lots of news from Italy today - Jon Sopel now interviewing Jeremy Bowen about Syria as he just happens to also be in town.

Yes. I've seen Razia Iqbal many times on Weekend World, and also Tanya.

They've fiddled with the Newsday titles, they look terrible.

Just seen them. Really doesn't look good, does it? Looks especially weird without any BBC branding, though I'm guessing that's UK-only until the NC moves to NBH.

Yep, the box is added by the channel of effect, which means the overnights are now carrying World News branding possibly for the first time ever.

I just noticed on BBC WN that the Weather is now using different kind of graphics, except for the weather map... but the movement of the map is now seemless...

BBC Weather has officially moved to NBH?

EDIT: Here's a screenshot...

But I guess this is the first time that the new weather graphics are *actually* in use, since the day before I still see the old one... so my question again, did they finally move to NBH?

I'm sure I saw Matt tweet that he was in NBH. I'd imagine that World weather is now in NBH alongside radio whilst UK weather probably remains at TVC.
