Graphics mash-up on BBC WN during overnight airing of Sport Today...
It seems BBC WN goes through many TOCs before it reached the television. Confused

Did anyone record the final closing shot with Naga? I hear it was quite nice.
Early mornings are in NNH from next week while overnight Mike Embley shift will stay at TVC for a few more.

What does TOC mean, pardon my ignorance?

Thanks.

Television operating center?

Is that a similar thing to what Red Bee do for BBC News here in the UK then (from what I understand)?

Wow, now that... is definitely the final goodbye.
So overnights will now be in NBH?

No, the 'BBC News' branded similcasts will remain in TVC until the News channel moves to BH. The cameras didn't bow out this time.

If that's true, will they be coming from N6 or N8 until then. I can't imagine keeping N8 operational for just four hours a day would be cheaper than running N6 an extra four hours a day...?

Also, I thought overnight bulletins were still produced and funded by World News. If that's the case, why wouldn't they move to NBH now?

World Have Your Say right now...
They are using now the robotic cams... but for some oddball reason, the cameraman (fake steadicam effect) thing remains. WHY?!

The move timetable said otherwise. It was WN launch 14 Jan, overnights end Jan (so now), BBC One bulletins early March, NC mid-end March.

Makes you wonder, if why the tractor camera was still working - they didn't use that as the opening shot from the titles overnight.
