Not that I can find, no, but the main presenters of IBR are still working for the BBC in the region, so perhaps programming and reporting priorities have changed. Sameer Hashmi, Kariahma Vaswani and Yogita Limaye now appear within news bulletins as well as WBR editions. Middle East Business Report's presenter, according to Wikipedia, was Nima Abu-Wardeh, who I don't think appears on the channel any more.

Middle East Business Report:

Nima Abu-Wardeh still lives in Dubai (as a permanent resident in fact) and is well known on the local media scene, corporate broadcasting and is also a prolific blogger. She also hosts events for charity and local business generation.

Katy Watson is still a correspondent for the BBC. Last time I saw her reporting, I believe she was the Mexico City correspondent.

Ben Thompson returned from Dubai to the BBC News Channel, where he still presents daily business segments, as well as Biz Live on BBC World, not to mention being a frequent business and main presenter on BBC Breakfast.

Has 100 Days + been shortened to 30 minutes? On Monday we got a 30 minute sportscast which included about three minutes throughout of Snooker?

Also how is World News America produced? I saw a picture from mediaboy (hope it's the right user) and it looks like the show was "asssembled" from London where it looks like graphics and packages were played out. I've seen the gallery in DC and it doesn't seem like much - two plasmas and a small vision mixer. So is it right to guess that a director in DC pushes a program output to London where the rest is handled by Mozart? Who would be the person (I think the person would be an EP in the US) calling the overall shots for the program - a person in DC or London? And finally what sort of fail safe would occur if D.C. was lost - could they throw up a slide and in a few minutes get a backup presenter?

May 1 was a public holiday in the UK (always first Monday in May) - so less content and Christian had his long weekend to himself!
Hence the shorter broadcast.
Back to normal tonight.

Yesterday was a bank holiday in the UK and 100 days has also been reduced to 30 on other bank holidays so yesterday is probably not a good indication of the situation going forward.

It seems a generic World Bulletin instead of Outside Source went out on both World and the NC at 9:00

Said Bulletin is coming from Washington so its not really a generic bulletin.

Confirmed by Kasia on Twitter. Babita Sharma is away for a month. Ben Bland is away. Lucy Hockings is away. Kasia is covering GMT this week. Rico is doing Newsday alone this week. Kasia returns to join him next week.

And I still haven't received the call-up.......

Nice to see Tanya Beckett back to doing Friday mornings on The World Today. Aaron Heslehurst will no longer appear in the slot given the launch of his new show later in the day.
