It's going to take time for Sarah Corker to lose the regional news style delivery.

Is there a regional style of delivery? I'm not sure ...

Well she did work with Peter Levy.

Quite a step up for regional news reporter who, as far as I know, has had no live bulletin presenting experience to go from reporting on Look North to presenting on BBC World.

I'd guess that it was a last minute 'whose in the newsroom' type situation rather than anything planned.

Do you think that there's any possibility that 100 Days will be kept around (albeit under a different name) when Trumps 100 Days are up? The way things are going it would be prudent to carry on the show with new controversies every day. Additionally the format works well. However I do miss seeing Katty regularly on WNA.

Doesn't look like it if the first edition of Outside Source is going into the BBC4 7:00pm slot at the start of May (since World News Today is officially no more at the end at the end of this month)

Outside Source doesn't really seem like a good 'fit' for BBC Four. The BBC Four simulcast has always been more reflective and analytical, through its various guises from BBC Four News, to The World, World News Today, and now 100 Days. The fast-paced, social-media driven Outside Source will be a quite a departure from the previous kind of format.

I wonder if the NC 7pm bulletin will be simulcast instead, but with a more analytic look at world news?

Given that delivery - yes. It's hardly hard-hitting. Jesus.

I don't think it's a regional delivery so much as she's got a strong accent from wherever she's from in the UK, and it doesn't sound normal to not have BBC English on BBC World.
