My apologies, the strike was Monday into Tuesday.
The jump during the papers is when the news channel is switched away from Studio C to E. Studio E runs a weather at the end of the World News bulletin. BBC One leave after the weather, E then plays some trails and a countdown to the News Channel only before switching Breakfast to air.
Huhh? But, today is Tuesday.
There was the usual 5.47am paper review on yesterday - during the strike.
On a side issue with the paper review, around 5.52 every morning watching the BBC One output, there is a momentary crackle on the audio, and the ticker jumps slightly backwards or forwards.
What's happening here? Is it Red Bee/Ericsson 'taking' back full output control of BBC One from BBC World?
