Presumably this gives them rolling news and a chance to have a break in London.

I'm curious are the astons for World News America generated by the engines back at NBH or do they use CasperCG like in Singapore? I only ask because last nights astons seemed a bit more dynamic than usual. Seems to me that animations in the past were a bit more static where the text would be on the screen where last night it would "roll on". Maybe I'm just adding more scrutiny because it was a simulcast.

Noticed GMT came from Washington today with altered titles - Clinton and Trump appearing in the circles.

World News Today also came from Washington just now. Presented by Jane Obrien.

Any reason why the news review was removed this morning by sports?

There was a 12 hour NUJ industrial action from 1900 Sunday to 0700 Monday. I imagine it was because of that.

Huhh? But, today is Tuesday.
There was the usual 5.47am paper review on yesterday - during the strike.

On a side issue with the paper review, around 5.52 every morning watching the BBC One output, there is a momentary crackle on the audio, and the ticker jumps slightly backwards or forwards.

What's happening here? Is it Red Bee/Ericsson 'taking' back full output control of BBC One from BBC World?

Does it happen on HD or just SD? Might be your regional studio centre reconfiguring or doing an opt test ahead of Breakfast.
