I wonder if Focus on Africa went as as normal as the bulletin was probably prepped yesterday or this morning?

World News Today coming from Washington now for a second time.

Why would a journalists' strike move Focus on Africa into Studio C?

Presumably it wasn't considered worth the effort to get the staff into Studio B just for one half hour programme.

2100 from DC on the NC and World.

But why couldn't they get studio e out and let world viewers watch uk centric news

Rehearsals for the 10? UK staff refusing extra duties or to alter routines in sympathy for those on strike?

Studio E would be preparing for the Ten.

Could be that staff contracted to the domestic news channel who are NUJ members refused, quite reasonably, to cover for striking colleagues.
